According to reports from The Economic Times, the power transmission and distribution major delivered a blockbuster performance with net profit surging 89% year-on-year to ₹352 crore for the March quarter, compared to ₹186 crore in the same period last year. Revenue soared 42% YoY to ₹1,640 crore, while EBITDA climbed 77% to ₹440 crore, highlighting strong operational momentum across the business.
A key highlight of the quarter was the company's robust order pipeline performance. As reported by The Economic Times, Q4 order bookings skyrocketed 188% YoY to ₹8,610 crore, signalling strong demand visibility and strengthening investor confidence in the company's long-term growth trajectory. For the full financial year FY26, GE Vernova T&D India posted equally impressive numbers across all key metrics. According to The Economic Times, revenue rose 45% YoY to ₹6,210 crore, while EBITDA more than doubled to ₹1,680 crore from ₹820 crore a year ago. Profit after tax surged 103% YoY to ₹1,230 crore, underscoring strong execution and margin expansion throughout the year. Annual order bookings remained healthy at ₹14,780 crore, up 37% YoY, demonstrating consistent demand across the company's product portfolio.
The company secured several significant orders during FY26 that strengthened its market position. As reported by The Economic Times, GE Vernova T&D India won a major order from Adani Energy Solutions to supply HVDC VSC terminal stations for the 2.5 GW Khavda–South Olpad renewable energy transmission corridor. The company also secured a refurbishment contract from Power Grid Corporation of India for the 2x500 MW Chandrapur HVDC Back-to-Back Station and bagged multiple orders from PGCIL and private developers for 765kV transformers and grid automation projects. The Board of Directors has approved an investment of ₹550 million towards creating new capacity for disconnectors and drives for 362 kV Dead Tank Circuit Breakers at a new facility in Vallam, Tamil Nadu.
