
According to reports from ET Now, GAIL (India) Ltd has scheduled its board meeting for Thursday, May 21, 2026, to consider and approve audited financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. The Maharatna PSU informed the bourses through an exchange filing on May 11, 2026, stating that the meeting will consider audited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and FY ended March 31, 2026. As reported by ET Now, GAIL had declared Q3 FY26 earnings at around 5.42 PM on January 31, 2026, and it is expected that Q4 FY26 earnings might come around the same time on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
According to the exchange filing reported by ET Now, the board of directors in the scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 21, might also consider recommendation for final dividend for FY 2025-26. GAIL has maintained a consistent dividend payment history to its shareholders. In 2026, GAIL paid a dividend of ₹5 in February, while in 2025, the oil PSU distributed cash rewards at two different occasions - ₹1 in August and ₹6.5 in February. In 2024, GAIL paid a dividend of ₹5.5, and in 2023, the PSU distributed ₹4 dividend, as reported by ET Now.
As reported by ET Now, GAIL India reported a 57.6% year-on-year decline in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) at ₹1,729.13 crore in Q3 FY26 against ₹4,084.24 crore reported in Q3 FY25. The company's revenue from operations in Q3 FY26 stood at ₹35,302.76 crore against ₹36,937.05 crore posted in Q3 FY25, translating into a decline of 4.42% YoY. For the nine-month period ending December 31, 2025, GAIL reported a net profit of ₹5,706 crore against ₹9,263 crore in the corresponding period of the previous financial year, with the previous year's figures being bolstered by an exceptional income of ₹2,440 crore from an arbitration settlement, as reported by ET Now.
According to ET Now, shares of GAIL India were trading at ₹153.40 on Wednesday, down ₹2.60 or 1.67% from the previous close of ₹156 on the BSE at around 11.26 am.
