Despite the profit decline, Energy Infrastructure Trust demonstrated strong revenue growth with sales rising 12.93% to ₹1,095.12 crore in Q1 FY27 compared to ₹969.72 crore in the same quarter of the previous financial year. As reported by Business Standard, this revenue expansion indicates the company's ability to maintain business momentum despite the shift from profitability to losses.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved to 30.65% in Q1 FY27 from 38.63% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, according to the financial results reported by Business Standard. However, PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) declined 15% to ₹222.73 crore from ₹261.03 crore in Q1 FY26, while PBT (Profit Before Tax) turned negative at ₹6.50 crore compared to a positive ₹31.60 crore in the previous year's quarter.
