Edelweiss Rural & Corporate Services reported a standalone net loss of ₹14.33 crore for the quarter ended June 2026, representing an 11% improvement from the ₹16.15 crore loss recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. According to reports from Business Standard, the company's sales declined by 11.58% to ₹33.30 crore in Q1 FY2026 compared to ₹37.66 crore in Q1 FY2025.
The company's operating profit margin (OPM) improved significantly to 47.99% in the June 2026 quarter from 14.34% in the same period last year. As reported by Business Standard, PBDT (Profit Before Depreciation and Tax) declined by 17% to ₹-15.01 crore from ₹-12.79 crore year-on-year. PBT (Profit Before Tax) also decreased by 21% to ₹-21.18 crore compared to ₹-17.48 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
The financial results show mixed performance indicators for Edelweiss Rural & Corporate Services. While the company achieved a reduction in net loss and improved operational margins, the sales decline of 11.58% and deterioration in profit before tax metrics suggest ongoing challenges in business operations. The 11% improvement in net loss despite operational challenges indicates some positive operational changes during the quarter.
