In an exchange filing, Dynacons outlined the comprehensive scope of the five-year project, which involves the supply, design, implementation and ongoing management of private cloud infrastructure for the bank. As reported by CNBC TV18, the contract encompasses the deployment of IT infrastructure, system software and cloud services to support hosting of the bank's applications, including its Data Centre and Disaster Recovery (DC-DR) environment. The solution is designed to provide a scalable and secure private cloud platform with automated scale-in and scale-out capabilities and centralised management.
The infrastructure will incorporate technologies from global OEMs including Dell, VMware, Red Hat and Microsoft, according to CNBC TV18 reports. The comprehensive solution includes server virtualisation, compute servers, storage solutions, software-defined networking, firewall systems with micro-segmentation, advanced threat prevention, DC-DR replication, container platforms, backup and recovery systems, and migration of existing servers to the new cloud environment. Dynacons will also provide on-site manpower support as part of the engagement.
