According to reports from Business Standard, Crisil Ratings has reaffirmed its 'Crisil BBB/Stable/Crisil A3+' ratings on the bank loan facilities of Pradeep Metals. The rating agency cited the company's extensive experience of promoters in the forging industry and comfortable financial risk profile as key factors supporting the ratings.
As reported by Business Standard, Pradeep Metals manufactures intricate closed-die stainless, alloy, and carbon steel forgings as finished and semi-finished machined components for multiple sectors including oil and gas, petrochemicals, and general engineering. The company's step-down subsidiary DMW is engaged in manufacturing precision machined components. According to the report, these strengths are partially offset by the working capital intensive nature of operations and exposure to project risk.
According to Business Standard, the company's consolidated net profit increased by 45.56% to ₹10.32 crore on a 4.52% rise in revenue to ₹90.96 crore in Q4 FY26 over Q4 FY25. The strong financial performance reflects the company's operational efficiency and market demand for its specialized forging products.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's scrip declined 3.08% to currently trade at ₹571.95 on the BSE following the rating announcement. The market reaction suggests investor focus on the rating reaffirmation and its implications for the company's future financing capabilities.
