The company's consolidated net profit increased by 11.11% to ₹1.60 crore compared to ₹1.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. As reported by Business Standard, Cravatex experienced a substantial decline in sales of 34.72% to ₹39.51 crore in the quarter ended March 2026, down from ₹60.52 crore in the same period last year. However, the substantial revenue decline raises concerns about the company's operational performance and market position.
According to Business Standard, for the full financial year ended March 2026, Cravatex demonstrated stronger overall performance. Net profit surged 40.79% to ₹6.80 crore compared to ₹4.83 crore in the previous year. However, the company's annual sales declined 13.17% to ₹150.87 crore from ₹173.76 crore in the previous financial year, reflecting ongoing operational challenges.
As reported by Business Standard, the company's profit before depreciation and tax (PBDT) increased by 28% to ₹10.08 crore for the full year, while profit before tax (PBT) rose 35% to ₹8.58 crore. These improvements in profitability metrics despite revenue challenges suggest effective cost management and operational efficiency enhancements. However, the company's reliance on non-operating income for profit growth and substantial revenue decline raise questions about the sustainability of its profitability going forward.
