
Craftsman Automation Ltd. has successfully completed its qualified institutional placement (QIP) to raise funds up to ₹2,000 crore through equity shares with a face value of ₹5 each. According to CNBC TV18, the Fund Raising Committee approved the allotment of 22.98 lakh equity shares to eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) at an issue price of ₹8,700 per share. The issue price reflects a discount of ₹266.13 per share, or 2.97%, to the floor price. The QIP opened on June 15, 2026 and closed on June 18, 2026, with the company raising approximately ₹2,000 crore through the allotment process.
Following the share issuance, Craftsman Automation's paid-up equity share capital increased to ₹13.08 crore, comprising 2.62 crore equity shares of face value ₹5 each, from ₹11.93 crore comprising 2.39 crore equity shares earlier. As reported by CNBC TV18, the allotment was distributed among major institutional investors including HDFC schemes (21.5%) and SBI schemes (11%). Other significant participants included Aditya Birla Sun Life schemes (4.95%) and TATA AIA Life Insurance schemes (5%). The company's equity base has expanded significantly to support its growth initiatives and fundraising requirements.
