Blue Cloud Softech Solutions shares opened at ₹19.30 apiece today, compared to the previous close of ₹19.18 on Friday last week, according to reports from Live Mint. The small-cap stock hit an intraday high of ₹20.37 on 15 September, inching close to its 52-week high. The shares surged as much as 2% on BSE in Tuesday's trading session following the company's announcement about the IndiaAI Centre of Excellence partnership.
Blue Cloud Softech Solutions announced it has received formal confirmation from Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) as Industry Partner for the IndiaAI Centre of Excellence to be established in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, as reported by Live Mint. The confirmation was addressed to Tejesh Kumar Kodali, Group Chairman, and Vinod Babu Bollikonda, Managing Director and Group CEO of Blue Cloud. STPI informed the company that the proposal to establish the AI Centre of Excellence in Odisha has received in-principle approval from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The company is now required to execute a definitive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with STPI to formalize the partnership.
The proposed agreement will outline Blue Cloud's financial contribution of ₹4 crore towards the development of the Centre, along with its responsibility for providing industry leadership, mentorship and strategic guidance to emerging AI startups, according to Live Mint. The AI-CoE is planned as a global hub for applied AI innovation, startup incubation, skill development and implementation of responsible and scalable AI solutions across key sectors including healthcare, governance, disaster management, education and industry. STPI has allocated around 10,000 square feet of built-up space along with supporting infrastructure for the Centre's establishment and operations. The ₹4 crore commitment represents approximately 0.4% of Blue Cloud's FY26 consolidated revenue of ₹1,002 crore, allowing the company to secure a strategic foothold in government-led AI infrastructure without significantly impacting cash reserves.
Blue Cloud's role as Industry Partner will leverage its existing technology platforms including BluHealth, a non-invasive, camera-based vital screening platform for healthcare; Blura SAGA and SOCEYE for public safety and governance applications; and Access Genie, its sovereign AI and 5G digital infrastructure stack, as reported by Live Mint. The company plans to make these platforms, its engineering expertise and its enterprise and government customer network available to startups incubated at the Centre. The Centre will also address Odisha's geographical strengths in oceanography and coastal fisheries, with priority sectors including healthcare, governance, disaster management, education, and industrial use cases. This initiative is being developed under the IndiaAI Mission, the Government of India's national programme administered by MeitY to develop sovereign AI computing infrastructure.
Blue Cloud reported robust financial results with consolidated revenue of ₹1,002 crore in FY26, representing a 26% year-on-year increase, according to the latest company disclosures. Profit after tax rose 37% to ₹60.50 crore during the same period. In Q1FY27, the company demonstrated even stronger momentum with revenue growing 41.9% to ₹292.53 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded to 20.4%, highlighting the company's ability to maintain high-margin business operations while supporting ecosystem development through the AI-CoE partnership.
