Small-cap IT stock Blue Cloud Softech Solutions surged 8% on Tuesday, February 3, following a significant rally in Indian stock markets after the announcement of India-US trade deal. According to reports from ET Now, the stock opened gap up at ₹20.54 on BSE, up nearly 8% versus the previous close of ₹19.05, and traded firmly in green around 3 PM at ₹19.88. The benchmark BSE Sensex jumped more than 4,200 points, rising 5.1% to touch an intraday high of 85,871.73, while the Nifty 50 climbed 1,252 points, or 5%, to 26,341.2 during the session.
The latest surge was primarily driven by the successful completion of Blue Cloud's BluHealth Screener & Scanner Proof of Concept (PoC) for Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) at Madgaon Railway Station. As reported by ET Now, the PoC conducted on 15-16 January 2026 demonstrated the effectiveness of BluHealth's AI-enabled preventive health screening platform in a live railway operational environment. Over the two-day period, the Blue Cloud team deployed state-of-the-art screening and diagnostic solutions to evaluate staff and passenger health vitals using rapid, non-invasive, AI-augmented technology. The technology showcased high accuracy and rapid screening of vital health parameters, with the system functioning effectively in a busy railway station, indicating its suitability for deployment in high-traffic public environments.
Despite the recent surge, Blue Cloud Softech Solutions continues to trade significantly below its peak levels. As reported by ET Now, the stock is still around 52% lower than its 52-week high of ₹42.50, which was recorded in February 2025, and had touched its 52-week low of ₹14.95 in April 2025. The recent rise stands in contrast to the stock's weak performance over shorter time frames, with declines of 47.5% over the past year, 41% in the last six months, 32.3% in the past three months, and 7% in the last one month. From a technical standpoint, the counter is trading higher than 5-day and 20-day moving averages but lower than 50-day, 100-day and 200-day moving averages.
Despite recent challenges, Blue Cloud has delivered impressive multibagger returns over the long term, gaining around 310% over the past five years. According to ET Now, the company, based out of Hyderabad and a constituent of BSE Information Technology index, is a software development company engaged in designing, developing computer software and providing data processing services. The company operates across India, the US, and the UAE, focusing on AI-led enterprise solutions, 5G connectivity, and cybersecurity for mission-critical sectors. Promoters increased their stake in the company by 3.93% during December 2025 compared to their holding in September 2025, indicating higher ownership during a period of stock price weakness.
The stock extended gains for a second straight session after the company announced the deployment of its AccessGenie AIoT Video Analytics Platform at the Rajiv Aarogyasri Health Care Trust (RAHCT) Dialysis Centre at Area Hospital, Hyderabad, operating under the PPP model. As reported by Live Mint, RAHCT formally certified the system's completion and operational readiness after evaluating it on functional, security, and performance parameters. Group Chairman Tejesh Kodali stated that the deployment reflects the company's focus on socially responsible, technology-led healthcare solutions for the Government of Telangana. Additionally, the company signed an MoU with ConnectM Technology Solutions to co-develop a semiconductor-based EdgeAI System-on-Chip for automotive cybersecurity in electric and connected vehicles, targeting USD 50 million in business over five years from 2026.
