The strategic alliance between Black Box Ltd and AIONOS is targeting more than $100 million in revenue within three years from their newly announced partnership. As per CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the alliance will initially pursue opportunities across three key markets — the US, the Middle East and India, which AIONOS Co-founder and Vice-Chairman CP Gurnani described as the primary vectors for growth as AI infrastructure spending accelerates globally. The partnership combines Black Box's infrastructure capabilities with AIONOS's AI products and platforms, bringing together two complementary approaches to the market. According to AIONOS, the success of the relationship depends on whether the companies' products put together lead to a triple digit number in millions of dollars in the next three years. Both companies will cross-sell their offerings to their clients, with Gurnani stating the growth potential for both companies would be in triple digits over the next three years.
Essar Group's IT arm Black Box Ltd announced a strategic alliance with AIONOS, an AI-native enterprise technology company, to help enterprises accelerate AI transformation from infrastructure build-out to measurable business outcomes. The partnership combines Black Box's digital infrastructure capabilities, including data centres, network connectivity, modern workplace solutions and managed services, with AIONOS's applied AI platforms and domain-led solutions. The collaboration enables organizations to build, deploy and manage AI with security and resilience embedded at every layer, helping enterprises accelerate AI transformation from infrastructure build-out to measurable business outcomes. According to CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, Sanjeev Verma, Black Box chief executive officer, emphasized that AI transformation begins with a strong digital foundation, stating that Black Box enables that foundation through mission-critical infrastructure, connectivity, and managed services that power enterprise operations worldwide. Gurnani explained that the alliance brings together two complementary approaches, noting that Black Box is unique in that they do infrastructure as a service, data centre as a service and will start doing network as a service, while AIONOS was built around a product and innovation framework, developing AI-led enterprise offerings that can be layered on top of customer infrastructure.
The partnership will jointly develop industry-focused solutions and expand go-to-market opportunities across India, North America, EMEA and APAC regions. In India, the focus will include the rapidly expanding global capability centre (GCC) ecosystem, where the alliance is uniquely positioned to help GCCs build AI-ready infrastructure, deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions, and create intelligent, scalable operations that integrate seamlessly with their global parent organizations. The alliance will be steered by CP Gurnani and Sanjeev Verma, who will lead global expansion efforts aimed at driving digital impact across enterprises and hyperscalers. According to Business Standard, Gurnani outlined the three vectors for market expansion: the US market where they will meet around 20-30 clients of Black Box in the next one month, the Middle East where they see latent demand, and the India market. He added that India currently accounts for 20% of the data being produced globally, and some of the largest infrastructure projects are currently being developed in the US and the Middle East, creating opportunities for AI deployment and related services. Gurnani said the company plans to "follow the data" and "follow the data centre investments", pointing to an estimated $600 billion being invested in data centres worldwide.

The alliance delivers a unified approach to AI adoption across the full technology stack, from digital infrastructure and OT/IoT connectivity to industry-specific AI solutions, with security, resilience, and governance built into every layer.
