According to an exchange filing shared by Bharat Dynamics on Wednesday, 20 May, the Miniratna defence PSU's board will meet on Thursday, 28 May 2026, to consider and approve the audited financial results for the quarter and year ended 31 March 2026. As reported by the company, the board will also consider the declaration of a final dividend for the financial year 2025-2026, if any. The notice was issued pursuant to Regulation 29 and Regulation 33 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 (as amended). In compliance with the company's code of Prohibition of Insider Trading, the trading window for the company's securities has been closed for all connected persons since April 1, 2026, and will remain shut until 48 hours after the results are declared.
Latest reports indicate Bharat Dynamics is expected to deliver robust Q4 FY26 results with net profit projected at approximately ₹301 crore and revenue at around ₹1,450 crore. The company had delivered strong growth in FY25 backed by healthy order execution and new order inflows, with strong focus on order book position, execution of major missile orders, and margin performance. Bharat Dynamics continues to benefit from rising defence spending and the government's push for indigenous missile systems under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. Investors will closely watch order book updates, execution progress on key projects, and management guidance for FY27.
According to brokerage Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Bharat Dynamics could post a revenue dip of 2% year-on-year (YoY) mainly due to its dependence on various other vendors and imports from Israel. However, the profit growth could remain firm as it sees the bottom line rising 21.9% YoY during the quarter under review. The brokerage expects margins to expand by 700bp YoY on ramp-up in execution and operating leverage, though it has cut revenue and margin estimates due to supply chain issues.
Despite a sharp rally in defence stocks, Bharat Dynamics shares have lost 27.5% in the last one year and remain 16% lower in six months. However, on a longer time frame of five years, it has surged 645%, delivering multibagger returns to investors. The stock ended Wednesday's trading session down 0.54% at ₹1303.85 apiece. Any beat in numbers along with a good final dividend announcement can act as a strong positive trigger for the stock.
