The Bengaluru-based aerospace and defence technology company reported consolidated revenue of ₹346.7 crore for Q1 FY27, representing a 42.2% year-on-year and 27% sequential increase, as reported by The Hindu BusinessLine. However, the company posted a reported loss of ₹14.8 crore compared to a profit of ₹20.9 crore in the same quarter last year. The loss was primarily driven by ₹21.81 crore of deal costs related to the ongoing divestment of its engineering services business to Akkodis for $237 million.
Adjusting for one-time provisions and charges, the company's normalised EBITDA was ₹41 crore at an 11.8% margin, with normalised PAT standing at ₹20.2 crore, according to The Hindu BusinessLine. The retained business, comprising Defence, XiDA (electronics and AI), and a nascent Aerospace manufacturing division, posted revenue of ₹183.4 crore, up approximately 94% year-on-year on a like-for-like basis. Defence revenue more than doubled to ₹125 crore, while XiDA contributed ₹49.5 crore at a 29.7% EBITDA margin.
The company's Assured Forecast Visibility in defence stood at ₹4,557 crore, after adding ₹332 crore in new sole-source wins during and after the quarter, as reported by The Hindu BusinessLine. An aerospace manufacturing acquisition with annualised revenue of ₹180 crore is expected to close in Q2 FY27. The stock is trading about 32% below its 52-week high of ₹2,211 touched in May 2026, though it remains 41% above its 52-week low of ₹1,063.30 hit in January. On a five-year basis, the stock has returned over 1,700%.
