According to Business Standard, Aurionpro Solutions has secured a significant additional order worth ₹50 crore from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to deploy its cutting-edge, end-to-end Automated Fare Collection (AFC) solution. This latest win expands the company's existing engagement with MMRDA for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A, announced last year, and extends the deployment of its AFC system to six additional stations under Mumbai Metro Line 5 Phase I. The order win demonstrates the company's continued strength in the Transit and Smart Mobility segment, building on its previous success in the Mumbai metro project.
According to latest reports, Aurionpro Solutions reported a 25.4% sequential decline in consolidated net profit to ₹45.9 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹61.5 crore in the previous quarter. The company's revenue from operations increased by 3.6% to ₹358 crore from ₹346 crore in Q3 FY26, while earnings before interest and tax fell 11.3% to ₹50.1 crore from ₹56.5 crore. However, the most concerning development was the EBITDA margin contraction of 300 basis points YoY to 17.2% and PAT margin narrowing to 12.6% from 15.3% a year earlier, reflecting significant pressure on profitability despite revenue growth. As per Live Mint, the quarter reflected pressure on profitability even as revenue continued to grow, with the company citing supply-chain disruptions and geopolitical issues in the Middle East and Africa as key factors affecting performance.
As reported by Live Mint, the banking and fintech segment revenue increased by 4.7% to reach ₹201 crore, while the Technology Innovation Group saw revenue growth of 8.4% sequentially to ₹157 crore. The company achieved a significant milestone by securing its largest-ever U.S. deal valued at more than $33 million and winning a six-year transaction banking mandate from Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. According to the company, revenue conversion remained modestly below normal trajectory expectations due to factors including raising input costs due to supply chain disruptions, timing shifts in a few projects and geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Group CEO Ashish Rai noted that while Q1 was a quarter of disciplined execution amid good deal closures and accelerating project revenue conversion, conversion remains modestly below normal trajectory due to transient factors including seasonality and geopolitical disruptions. Despite the margin pressure, the company added 23 new customer logos during the quarter, demonstrating continued business expansion.
According to Live Mint, Aurionpro Solutions secured a significant Transaction Banking mandate from a leading Indian bank and added strategic wins across Transit and Data Centre solutions. The company is entering a platform shift in banking software as AI diffuses across business processes, with software evolving from systems that record and automate to systems that reason, learn and act. Enterprise AI offerings from Arya.ai are seeing strong demand across banking and insurance as customers move towards deployment. The company expects growth to move above its recent 4050% trajectory into a higher band as Data Centre delivery capacity comes online and execution scales. Transaction Banking continues to see substantial opportunities in South Asia and MEA, with pipeline traction building from expansion into Southeast Asia and Europe. Management said execution momentum is improving across its businesses and that the company is expanding its transaction banking footprint in Europe.
In a significant development, Choice Institutional Equities has issued a buy rating on Aurionpro Solutions with a target price of ₹1100 in its research report dated July 29, 2026. The brokerage noted that while Q1FY27 delivered weak results with execution delays and elevated investments weighing on revenue conversion and margins, the weakness appears largely timing-led. Choice Institutional Equities believes the healthy order book of ₹19.5 billion, robust pipeline across Transit and Data Centre businesses, and expanding transaction banking opportunities across international markets underpin strong medium-term growth visibility. The brokerage retains its BUY rating and 22x FY28E EPS multiple, as the current valuation remains compelling with a PEG <1x ratio, with their DCF-based valuation also supporting the revised target price.
According to Live Mint, for financial year 2027, Aurionpro Solutions sees higher upfront investment than in a typical year, attributed to larger projects which bring in higher working capital needs as they scale. The company stated that these effects will normalize over the next one to two quarters. For the ongoing fiscal, the company remains watchful on the geopolitical environment which could continue to delay execution in the MEA geography. The company will invest with conviction while calibrating R&D to sustain healthy margins, with key build-outs across their AI-native banking stack as they mature, allowing capacity to be redeployed towards customer implementations and accelerating revenue conversion through the year. Management said demand is broadening across the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asia, and it expects growth to accelerate meaningfully in the second half of FY27.
According to Live Mint, Aurionpro Solutions shares fell as much as 12.3% to ₹733.50 following the mixed June quarter results where margins continued to decline quarter-on-quarter. The stock hit a low of ₹733.50 on Tuesday, July 28, reaching the lowest level since June 11, with the drop dragging the stock to its lowest level since the quarter began. The stock has been struggling to regain momentum, remaining under prolonged selling pressure since September 2024 and losing over 55% of its value during the period. After a strong rally between March 2023 and September 2024, which took the stock to a record high of ₹1,975, the momentum faded, with the stock closing most of the subsequent months in the red. From its peak, the stock has declined 62%, on a calendar-year basis it plunged 40% in 2025 and has fallen another 29% so far in 2026. However, according to Bloomberg data, all three analysts tracking the stock have a 'buy' rating with a consensus target price at ₹1,095, implying a potential upside of about 48% from the last regular trade.
