Aurionpro Solutions Ltd announced on Friday, March 13, that it has secured its largest-ever order in the data centre segment, winning a multi-year mandate from a leading hyperscale data centre operator. According to the company's exchange filing, the project is valued at around ₹350 crore and involves developing a large AI-ready green data centre in India designed to support next-generation high-density computing workloads. The contract was awarded following an extensive competitive bidding process, marking a significant milestone for the company as it strengthens its position in India's mission-critical data centre infrastructure market.
Under the contract, Aurionpro will undertake comprehensive design, detailed engineering, and end-to-end execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for the facility. As reported by the company, the project will be executed by its in-house team specialising in mission-critical infrastructure design and marks its first AI-ready data centre project. Group CEO Ashish Rai stated that the mandate reinforces the company's engineering and execution capabilities in the fast-growing data centre infrastructure space, with the company proud to be entrusted with this prestigious mandate and committed to delivering the project with the highest standards of quality and execution.
According to Rai's comments, with demand already outpacing available capacity, the company sees a significant and sustained growth runway for the sector. Aurionpro is steadily establishing itself as a partner of choice within this ecosystem and is well positioned to contribute meaningfully to this next phase of sovereign digital infrastructure expansion in India. The contract represents a significant endorsement of the company's engineering depth and execution capabilities, positioning it to capture larger opportunities in this high-growth segment amid unprecedented market growth.
This project comes at a time when India's data centre market is experiencing unprecedented growth. The country's data centre capacity reached about 1.5 GW in 2025 and is expected to rise to around 2 GW by the end of 2026. Despite this major contract win, Aurionpro shares were trading 1.98% down at ₹903.25 as of 10.56 am on Friday. The stock has declined 30.81% in the last year, reflecting broader market sentiment toward the company's performance, though the company maintains its position as a global enterprise technology leader with expertise across banking, payments, mobility, insurance, transit, data centres, and government sectors.
