According to latest reports from The Economic Times, revenue from operations dropped 11.54% year-on-year to ₹176.66 crore in the April-June period from ₹199.72 crore in the year-ago period. Profit before tax (PBT) declined 25.34% to ₹15.73 crore in Q1 FY27 from ₹21.07 crore in Q1 FY26, while total expenditure decreased 8.97% to ₹166.30 crore compared to ₹182.71 crore in the previous year. Raw material consumed increased 3.91% to ₹136.90 crore, while employee expenses declined 0.55% to ₹32.33 crore during the quarter. EBITDA declined 17.6% to ₹33.7 crore from ₹41 crore in the year-ago quarter, with EBITDA margin standing at 19% compared with 20.4% a year earlier.

Despite the quarterly decline, Astra Microwave secured a significant ₹2,205.23 crore order from Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) for the supply of equipment for the Uttam Radar programme. According to CNBC TV18, the order is to be executed over five years and is nearly twice the company's FY26 revenue of around ₹1,163 crore, providing significant long-term revenue visibility for the company. The latest reports confirm this order includes the procurement of 122 numbers of AAAU and 121 interface frames for the Uttam Radar programme.
