
Apollo Tyres Ltd delivered robust financial results for Q3FY26, with net profit surging 39.6% year-on-year to ₹470.5 crore compared to ₹337 crore in the same period last year. According to reports from CNBC TV18 and NDTV Profit, the company's revenue grew 11.8% to ₹7,743 crore from ₹6,927 crore in Q3FY25. EBITDA increased 25.3% to ₹1,185 crore from ₹946 crore a year ago, with EBITDA margin expanding to 15.3% from 13.7% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company also reported operating income jumping 25.2% quarter-on-quarter, demonstrating strong operational momentum across all business segments.
The company announced an interim dividend of ₹3.50 per equity share of ₹1 each for FY26, with the record date set for February 10, 2026. As reported by CNBC TV18 and NDTV Profit, the dividend will be paid within 30 days of declaration. Shares of Apollo Tyres Ltd ended at ₹512.40, up by ₹7.45, or 1.48% on the BSE on February 4, reflecting positive market sentiment following the results announcement. The company distributed nearly ₹222 crore to shareholders through this dividend declaration. Following the announcement, Apollo Tyres' stock closed 1.48% higher on the BSE, mirroring the performance of the broader market, with the Nifty 50 also registering a 1.48% gain.
Apollo Tyres announced a significant capacity expansion at its Andhra Pradesh plant for passenger car radial (PCR) and truck bus radial (TBR) tyres. According to CNBC TV18, the current installed capacities are 7.1 million tyres per annum for PCR with 82% utilisation and 1.6 million tyres per annum for TBR with 89% utilisation. The proposed expansion will add 3.7 million PCR tyres and around 1.3 million TBR tyres per annum by the end of FY2029.
The expansion project requires an investment of approximately ₹5,810 crore and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. As reported by CNBC TV18, Apollo Tyres stated that the expansion is in line with anticipated short- to medium-term growth in both PCR and TBR segments. The company emphasized that this strategic investment aligns with their growth strategy in the Indian tyre market.
