
Apollo Micro Systems shares surged as much as 13% to hit an intraday high of ₹400 on the BSE on Monday, extending their sharp rally amid heavy trading volumes. According to reports from The Economic Times, the multibagger stock has gained 33% so far in May and has advanced in five of the last six trading sessions. The stock has emerged as a multibagger, gaining 185% over the past one year, with the company currently having a market capitalisation of ₹14,145 crore. The latest surge was accompanied by average trading volume nearly doubling, with a combined 47.84 million shares changing hands on the NSE and BSE till 11:00 AM, as reported by Business Standard.
The gains come after the company reported a robust set of numbers for the fourth quarter of financial year 2026. As reported by The Economic Times, the company reported a massive 163% jump in consolidated net profit for the March quarter at ₹36.8 crore, compared with ₹14 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations also soared 81% year-on-year to ₹293.3 crore from ₹161.8 crore, driven by healthy execution across defence and aerospace programmes. The company's EBITDA grew 88% YoY (34.2% QoQ) to ₹67.6 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded by 92 bps YoY to 23.1%. For FY26, Apollo Micro Systems reported strong growth across major financial parameters, with consolidated profit rising 90% year-on-year to ₹107.4 crore from ₹56.4 crore in FY25, while revenue from operations jumped 61% to ₹904.3 crore compared with ₹562.1 crore in the previous year.
Supporting its growth outlook, the company has achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) license covering UAVs, INS systems, radars, torpedoes, underwater mines, ATGM, decoys, chaffs and flares, aerial bombs, rockets, missiles, and loitering munition. As reported by The Economic Times, Managing Director Baddam Karunakar Reddy described FY26 as a 'breakthrough year' for the company, driven by record revenue and profitability, the successful acquisition of IDL Explosives through ADIPL, and the receipt of this DPIIT license. The management indicated that FY26-27 will mark the company's serious entry into key defense domains including armament electronics, fire control systems, and battle tanks, infantry combat vehicles, and artillery platforms, vehicle mounted counter-drone systems with trials scheduled in the upcoming quarters. This DPIIT license represents a lifetime license for the company, paving the way for penetrating into full-fledged platforms for both Indian and global markets.
From a technical perspective, as reported by The Economic Times, the stock is trading above all major EMAs, reflecting strong bullish structure across short- and long-term time frames, while RSI is sustaining above 60, supporting positive momentum despite minor volatility. The analyst recommends investors consider fresh buying with a stop loss of ₹340, while upside targets should be placed at ₹385 and ₹400. The analyst noted that sustained trade above ₹355 can further accelerate bullish momentum in coming sessions. With the stock's 120% surge since April from ₹182.10 levels, the technical indicators suggest continued upward momentum supported by strong fundamentals and the company's strategic defense expansion.
