The discounts apply on Lite fares (without check-in baggage) and Value fares across the airline's expanding network spanning India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. As reported by Business Standard, the sale includes additional 20% discount on seat selection and pre-booked meals, along with Zero Convenience Fees for all bookings made on the official website and app during this sale. Tata Neupass members receive 20% off Business Class fares and can unlock an additional discount of up to ₹300 on flight bookings while earning up to 8% NeuCoins.
The promotional campaign comes as Indian airlines aggressively compete for price-sensitive travelers amid rising passenger traffic, strong leisure demand, and growing outbound international travel from India. According to Business Standard, the airline continues to provide specialized discounted fares and benefits for students, senior citizens, members of the armed forces (serving and retired) and their dependents. The move positions Air India Express to capture market share during the busy summer and festive travel season, with current flight availability showing competitive pricing across both domestic and international routes.
