
Technology and science company 3M India announced a total dividend of ₹506 per share, comprising a final dividend of ₹160 and a special dividend of ₹346, with a face value of ₹10 for eligible shareholders. According to reports from The Economic Times, the company has set July 17 as the record date to determine shareholder eligibility, subject to approval at its upcoming 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled in August. Once approved, the dividend will be paid within 30 days from the AGM.
3M India reported exceptional financial results for Q4 FY26, with net profit surging 202% year-on-year to ₹215 crore compared to ₹71 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. As reported by The Economic Times, the company's revenue from operations rose 17% YoY to ₹1,399 crore during the quarter, while EBITDA grew 12% to ₹269 crore. For the full financial year FY26, the company posted a 9.71% increase in consolidated net profit to ₹522.32 crore, while revenue from operations rose 14.49% year-on-year to ₹5,089.76 crore over FY25. According to latest reports, the company's profit before exceptional items stood at ₹248.93 crore, up 10.52% from ₹225.22 crore in Q4 FY25, though it reported exceptional losses of ₹40.24 crore during the quarter.
According to 3M India's Managing Director Aseem Joshi, the company delivered strong segment-wise growth across all business verticals. Healthcare grew 21.3%, Safety & Industrial grew 19.5%, Consumer grew 15.7%, and Transportation & Electronics grew 12.6% versus prior year for Q4 FY26. For the full financial year 2025-26, all business segments grew double digits, with the health care business leading the company's growth. As reported by The Economic Times, Joshi noted that the company's teams continued to execute well, with focus on customers and supply partners, and thanked employees for their dedication and customer focus.

Independent director Radhika Rajan will cease to hold office upon completion of her second and final five-year term on 26 May 2026, having been associated with the company since May 2016. The board placed on record its appreciation for her contributions and extended its gratitude and best wishes for her future endeavours. Kavita Nair has been appointed as an additional director of the company, categorized as a non-executive and independent director, with effect from 27 May 2026, to hold office for a term of five consecutive years, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, the company unanimously appointed Dwarakanath Ranganath Mavinakere (M D Ranganath) as the chairman of the board with effect from 27 May 2026.

The company had previously paid a special dividend and final dividend cumulatively worth ₹535 in July 2025 and ₹685 in the same month last year. Historical records show the company paid a dividend of ₹100 in July 2023 and a special dividend of ₹850 per share in November 2022.
