ICRA reaffirmed its AAA (Stable) rating for issuer rating, Basel III Tier II bonds, and fixed deposits on July 7, 2026, while CARE upgraded its rating on Basel III Tier II bonds to AAA (Stable) on July 10, 2026. CRISIL assigned AAA (Stable) ratings to infrastructure bonds and fixed deposits in June 2026, with short-term instruments maintaining A1+ ratings from ICRA, CRISIL, and CARE. The bank emphasized its commitment to ESG principles with sustainability integrated into business practices and adopted IFC Performance Standards for environmental and social footprint management.
The partnership has expanded RBL Bank's digital ecosystem through strategic onboarding and partnerships. According to Investing.com, the bank onboarded Airpay for e-commerce acquiring, partnerships with Open Financials, GVP Infotech, and MobiKwik for UPI, and cross-border remittance partnerships with Comera Pay and Ark Ventures. The bank also received RBI approval for salary payouts under RDA cross-border services and enabled SEBI intermediary facilities for UPI payment collection. The bank's technological capabilities were recognized with a 'Best Data Quality' award from TransUnion CIBIL and three FINNOVITI 2026 awards for its Confirmation Service API, KAVACH fraud detection system, and RInsights data analytics platform.
