
According to reports from Livemint and OneIndia, Paisalo Digital Limited announced on Tuesday, January 6, that it had successfully secured ₹188.5 crore through its latest public issuances in Q3 at an annual ROI of 8.5%. The systematically important non-deposit taking NBFC, focused on inclusive lending, demonstrated strong credit profile and disciplined risk management capabilities through this successful capital raise. In a stock exchange filing, the company highlighted that this raise demonstrates its robust balance-sheet strength and strong market positioning. The NBFC stated that this issuance is expected to meaningfully reduce its cost of funds, strengthen its medium-term capital base, and enhance its lending capacity.
As reported by Livemint and OneIndia, Paisalo Digital will deploy the proceeds to support its pan-India expansion across 22 states and UTs. The company plans to deepen its High Tech–High Touch distribution model and accelerate the rollout of new lending products aimed at micro-entrepreneurs, self-employed borrowers, and underserved income segments. With 4,380 touchpoints and a rapidly growing customer franchise, the company is positioned to capture a larger share of India's formalising MSME and income-generation credit ecosystem. Recently, on December 23, 2025, the company announced a major expansion of its product ecosystem through new institutional and OEM partnerships across high-impact industries including agriculture, healthcare, and education. The firm has partnered with organizations like Truvic Health, Edu Soft, and Sema Mart Health in medical and educational sectors, while collaborating with suppliers including Maschio, Shaktiman, and Preet Tractors to advance agricultural mechanization.
According to OneIndia, Paisalo Digital is expanding its presence in renewable energy and industrial equipment through partnerships with solar suppliers like Loom Solar and UTL, while collaborations with Kubota and Rishabh (Tata Genset) offer MSMEs funding options to expand operations. The firm has also significantly expanded its alternative fuel-based mobility ecosystem through collaborations with prominent manufacturers including Piaggio, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility, and TVS Motor to promote greener last-mile transportation options. This strategic action is intended to increase product accessibility for micro-entrepreneurs, small enterprises, and independent contractors in both rural and urban Indian marketplaces, offering reasonably priced, purpose-driven loans that promote economic independence.

The small-cap stock has fallen 22% over the last year, but has seen decent gains lately with a 15% jump over the last six months.
According to BSE shareholding pattern data reported by Livemint, SBI Life Insurance held 6,21,14,267 shares, equivalent to 6.83% of total voting rights, by the end of the September quarter of the current financial year. Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) cumulatively held nearly 19 crore shares, or 20.89% of total voting rights, by the end of Q2FY26. This fundraising comes at a time when NBFCs with strong governance and disciplined underwriting are expected to emerge as beneficiaries of evolving market dynamics.
