
Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) inaugurated its new divisional office in Tiruppur on Monday, marking a significant expansion of the bank's presence in the textile hub. According to reports from The Hindu BusinessLine, the office will bring senior leadership and localized sanctioning authority directly to the heart of the knitwear hub, reinforcing the bank's commitment to Tiruppur's industrial growth. The bank currently operates a robust network of 37 branches across the Tiruppur region.
As reported by The Hindu BusinessLine, the bank emphasized that Tiruppur serves as a global hub for textiles and exports, housing thousands of MSMEs requiring rapid credit intervention and specialized financial expertise. The elevation to divisional level positions KVB to station senior leadership and dedicated experts on-site, enabling the bank to provide enhanced services to regional business owners. Regional business owners can now access a comprehensive suite of corporate, MSME and trade finance services with improved efficiency. Beyond physical presence, the new branch facilitates access to the bank's robust digital ecosystem, including the upgraded KVB DLite mobile application, which offers over 150 financial and non-financial features. As of December 31, 2025, the bank maintains a total business volume of ₹2,11,647 crore, supported by a network of over 2,228 ATMs and cash recyclers. The bank's strong performance record in Q3 FY26 includes a net profit of ₹690 crore and a Net NPA of 0.19%, demonstrating its focus on technology-led growth and personalized customer service.
