
Karur Vysya Bank has announced a significant leadership change in its finance department, with Ramasamy G V taking charge as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel in the rank of General Manager effective September 1, 2026. The bank has significantly expanded its physical presence by opening 16 new branches across multiple states, bringing its total branch network to 919 locations nationwide. The latest expansion includes six branches in Tamil Nadu, five in Andhra Pradesh, three in Telangana, and one each in Karnataka and Delhi NCR. As reported by Karur Vysya Bank, the new Udupi branch is strategically located on the first floor of Padmatara Complex, Kanakadasa Street, Udupi.

Ramshankar R, who currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer, will be transitioning to the role of Chief Operating Officer following his elevation to Chief General Manager.
