As reported by CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, total deposits increased 4.5% year-on-year to ₹4,14,992 crore, surpassing the ₹4 lakh crore milestone as of June 30, 2026, compared with ₹3,97,144 crore in June 2025. According to CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, the bank's CASA ratio stood at 29.5%, down from 31.2% in March 2026 and 31.5% in June 2025. The CASA ratio remains a key metric for measuring the bank's low-cost deposit base.
As reported by CNBC TV18 and Business Standard, shares of IndusInd Bank Ltd jumped 2.19% to ₹997.05 following the Q1 results announcement. The positive market reaction suggests investor confidence in the bank's deposit growth strategy despite the decline in net advances, indicating that the market views the deposit mobilization as a more important metric for future performance. The bank's strong deposit performance helped offset concerns about the decline in advances growth.
