IndusInd Bank has expanded its partnership with HYROX India to cover Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Noida, following its initial association with HYROX Mumbai earlier in 2026. According to the latest press release, the expanded deal positions the private lender as a banking partner across the fitness racing series' multi-city India calendar this season. The partnership covers the HYROX fitness race format, where participants complete eight rounds of a 1-km run followed by a functional workout station. As per the bank's announcement, this expansion builds on their successful association with HYROX Mumbai 2026 and demonstrates their commitment to strengthening engagement with fitness enthusiasts across multiple Indian cities.
Under the expanded arrangement, IndusInd Bank customers will receive exclusive cashback offers and race-day benefits, including priority check-in, dedicated access lanes, exclusive event privileges and curated on-ground experiences at HYROX events. According to the bank's press release, the September 16 announcement does not specify the exact cashback amount or detailed eligibility conditions, though customers can expect comprehensive benefits across all HYROX events in the expanded cities. The partnership aims to engage consumers who value aspiration, perseverance and continuous progress, with IndusInd Bank's Chief Marketing Officer Sheran Mehra framing it as a strategic brand-building exercise rather than a conventional sports sponsorship. As reported by the bank, the partnership targets a generation valuing aspiration and perseverance, with the brand's appeal extending beyond fitness to reflect a mindset of challenging limits.
Deepak Raj, Country Head of HYROX India, emphasized that IndusInd Bank shares HYROX's focus on ambition and achievement, positioning the bank as a long-term banking partner as HYROX expands to more Indian cities. As reported by the bank, the partnership is intended to create distinctive experiences and strengthen the bank's connection with consumers focused on personal growth. Sheran Mehra, Chief Marketing Officer of IndusInd Bank, highlighted that HYROX gives the bank an opportunity to connect with consumers who value aspiration, perseverance and continuous progress, positioning it as a strategic platform to engage with fitness-focused consumers while offering customers event-related benefits. Mehra noted that this partnership is more than a sports association; it is a strategic platform to deepen relevance among the target demographic.
According to The Hindu BusinessLine, HYROX was founded in Germany in 2017 and now operates across more than 30 countries. The series expects over 1.5 million participants across 123 events globally this season. The standardised fitness racing format combines running with functional workouts, catering to both professional athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts. For IndusInd Bank, which currently serves approximately 42 million customers through 3,137 branches across India as of June 30, 2026, this partnership aligns with their broader effort to deepen engagement with urban, experience-oriented consumers focused on personal growth and fitness-related activities. The bank's network includes 2,853 ATMs and reaches 1.60 lakh villages across India through its extensive branch network.
