CreditAccess Grameen Ltd. reported a 19.4% year-on-year increase in disbursements to ₹6,355 crore in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, according to reports from CNBC TV18. Retail finance assets under management (AUM) stood at ₹7,200 crore in Q2FY27, compared with ₹6,258 crore in the first quarter, as reported by CNBC TV18. The secured loan book demonstrated strong growth of 18% sequentially to ₹695 crore. Additionally, the company saw significant expansion in its two-wheeler financing business, with AUM crossing ₹60 crore in Q2FY27, compared with ₹20 crore in the previous quarter.
Despite strong operational metrics, CreditAccess Grameen reported a marginal increase in its monthly portfolio-at-risk (PAR) accretion rate during the quarter, according to CNBC TV18. The company attributed this rise to excess rainfall and heavy flooding in August and September across certain regions of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, along with seasonal festivities in some of its operating geographies.
Shares of CreditAccess Grameen were trading 1.42% higher at ₹1,256.60 following the quarterly results announcement, as reported by CNBC TV18. The stock has remained broadly flat so far this year, indicating measured investor response to the mixed quarterly performance that showed strong growth in disbursements and AUM expansion, but also highlighted some portfolio quality challenges due to adverse weather conditions.
